We've had loads of people saying it was the best ceilidh they've ever been to (many of them Scots, with a slight tone of surprise in their voices!) It was just what was wanted and was for me one of the best bits of what was a good day generally. You also managed to turn loads of French people into massive ceilidh fans: I hope the cheers didn't get to you - looking back at the photos, people look vaguely like they're doing the same dance as each other! They pitched the mix of music right for the audience and the excellent calling made it possible for everyone to join in. Dear Mike, Now that we have returned relaxed and refreshed from our honeymoon, we wanted to write and say a big thank-you to you and the rest of the 'gang' at 'Striding Edge' for playing at our wedding at the Keswick County House Hotel on 5th July 2003.
