Booking Information

Here is the step-by-step procedure for booking Striding Edge.

1. Check your date is available.

We post up all our confirmed bookings on our 'calendar' page up to a year in advance, so check out this page to see if your date is likely to be available. Go to calendar>>

2. Contact our administrator, Mike Willoughby, via email or phone.

Contact Mike with the following information: Proposed date(s), venue, and type of event.

Mike will be able to tell you if the band is available for your event. He will give you a firm 'quote' for the cost.

3. Reserve the booking with Mike.

To reserve the booking, contact Mike and say that you would like to book the band.

At this stage, it would be helpful for Mike to know more about your event: for instance, timings, the space available for the show, number of guests and any special requirements that you may have.

Mike will need your postal address and telephone number:He will then send you the Booking Form.

4. Confirm the booking by completing and returning the Booking Form.

You will receive the Booking Form, which comes in duplicate. This contains the details of the event, as agreed by both parties. Please complete, sign and return one copy to Mike by post. Retain the other copy for your records. If it's a venue Striding Edge have not played at before, please include a map and instructions of how to locate the venue.

Confirmation of the booking is when Striding Edge have received the completed and signed Booking Form from the client.

It is therefore in your interest to return the Booking Form as soon as possible, preferably within a week of you receiving it.

5. Payment.

For private engagers, Striding Edge require payment on the night, usually in cash.

For companies booking Striding Edge, a cheque can be made payable to 'Mike Willoughby' on the night. If an invoice is required, please indicate this on the Booking Form.

Striding Edge request that payments are made in cash whenever possible. This makes it practical for Mike to pay the band promptly at the end of the night. This also avoids costly bank charges!

Please note that, in return, we do not require a cash deposit or booking fee when making a booking. (Unlike other bands!)

6. Bookings: First Come First Served!

Striding Edge gigs are booked on a 'first come first served' basis: We regret we cannot hold or reserve dates for clients unless a confirmation is made.
